OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1} The programs proposed herein ar`e in the
best, interest of the 'City of Miami and the general 'public.
Section 2} The City Manager is hereby authorized to
execute in behalf of the City'' necessary agreements prescribed
by the Office of the Dade -Miami Criminal Justice Council to
assist in defraying the costs of the programs generally
described below: 1/
a. City of Miami Area -Wide Crime prevention
Project; and —
b. city of Miami, Minority Recruitment. Project.
Section 3. (a) The City Manager is hereby' authorized
to'furnish such information.and take such other actions as may.
be 'necessary to enable the City to execute all necessary agree-
ments to implement the programs.
(b) The City Manager is hereby designated
as the City"s authorized representative for the purpose of
furnishing to the Office of the Dade-riiami Criminal justice
Council such information, data and documents pertaining to the
agreements for said programs as may be required and otherwise
to `act as the authorized representative of the City of Miami.
