KNOWLTON'S MAP OF MIAMI (B-14), ZONED C-4 (GEN- ERAL COMMERCIAL); AND LOTS 4 THRU 17 INCLUSIVE OF BLOCK 108N AND LOTS 4, 16, 17 AND LOT 5 LESS W'LY 40.4' THEREOF OF BLOCK 95N, A.L. KNOWLTON'S MAP OF MIAMI (B-41), ZONED R-4 (MEDIUM DENSITY - MULTIPLE DWELLING); TO GU (GOVERNMENTAL USE) BEING THE PROPERTY BOUNDED BY THE SOUTHERLY R-O-W LINE OF N.W. 5TH STREET, THE WESTERLY FEC RAILWAY R-O-W LINE, THE NORTHERLY R-O-W LINE OF N.W. 1ST STREET AND THE EXPRESSWAY R-O-W LESS THAT PROPERTY ALREADY ZONED GU (GOVERN- MENTAL USE); AND BY MAKING THE NECESSARY CHANGES IN THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP MADE A PART OF SAID ORDINANCE NO.6871 BY REFERENCE AND DESCRIPTION IN ARTICLE III, SECTION 2, THEREOF; BY REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, CODE SECTIONS OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT; AND CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE; AND DISPENSING WITH THE REQUIREMENT OF READING SAME ON TWO SEPARATE DAYS BY A VOTE OF NOT LESS THAN FOUR -FIFTHS OF THE MEMBERS OF THE COMMISSION. WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board at its meeting of April 15, 1981, Item #3, following an advertised hearing, adopted Resolution No. PAB 17-81 by a 7 to 0 vote RECOMMENDING a Change of Zoning Classification, as hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, the City Commission after careful consideration of this matter, deems it advisable and in the best interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami and its inhabitants to grant this change of zoning classification, as hereinafter set forth; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Ordinance No. 6871, the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami, be and the same is hereby amended by changing the zoning classification of Blocks 76N, 76E, 87N, 87E, 96N, 96E, 107N, 107E, Lots 1, 2, 3, 18, 19 and 20 of Blocks 95N, and Lots 1, 2, 3, 18, 19 and 20 of Block 108N, A.L. KNOWLTON'S MAP OF MIAMI (B-1.4), zoned C-4 (General Commercial); and Lots 4 thru 17 inclusive of Block 108N and Lots 4, 16, 17 and Lot 5 less W'ly 40.4' -1- thereof of Block 95N, A.L. KNOWLTON'S MAP OF MIAMI (B-41), zoned R-4 (Medium Density Multiple Dwelling) to GU (Governmental Use); being the property bounded by the southerly r-o-w line, of N.W. 5th Street, the westerly FEC Railway r-o-w line, the northerly r-o-w line of N.W. lst Street, and the Express- way r-o-w less that property already zoned GU (Governmental Use); and by making the necessary changes in the Zoning District Map made a part of said Ordinance No. 6871 by reference and description in Article III, Section 2, thereof. Section 2. That all laws or parts of laws in conflict here- with be and the same are hereby repealed insofar as they are in conflict. Section 3. Should any part or provision of this Ordinance be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the same shall not affect the validity of the Ordinance as a whole. - Section 4. The requirement of reading this ordinance on two separate days is hereby dispensed with by a vote of not less than four -fifths of the members of the Commission.
