HomeMy WebLinkAboutItem #74 - Discussion ItemOur success in hiring new police officers is attributable to the well coordinated recruitment program carried out by the Department of Human Resources and the Police Department. We also achieved and surpassed the City Commission's established goal of 80% minorities and women for all new hires. Of the 302 new Police Officers, 82.5% are minorities and women. The ethnic breakdown is as follows: �..
