ORANGE BOWL PRIOR TO THE 1981 FOOTBALL SEASON;
CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION AND A SEVER-

ABILITY CLAUSE.
for the implementation of Capital Improvements in the City of
Miami, Florida for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1981;
and
WHEREAS, the Orange Bowl has been experiencing increas-
ing levels of vandalism and theft in recent years during periods
when it is not in use; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best solution to
this situation would be to erect an inner perimeter security fence;
and
WHEREAS, the cost of installing said security fence is
estimated to be $175,000; and
WHEREAS, the County Commission has approved the payment
of Resort Tax monies to the Orange Bowl to provide for the repay-
ment of the aforementioned amount over a period of 18 months; and
WHEREAS, Resolution 8 1 - 5 3 n, authorized the advancement
of $175,000, from the Florida Power and Light Franchise Revenues
to the Orange Bowl Enterprise Fund
