TRADING COMPANY IN THE PROPOSED AMOUNT OF $120,487.401 BID "B" (DRAINAGE)' DP THE PROPOSAL, FOR WYNDWOOD COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PAVING PROJECT - PHASE V; WITH MONIES THEREFOR ALLOCATED FROM THE f.; "FEDERAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK'; GRANT" IN THE AMOUNT OF $120,487.40 TO COVER THE CONTRACT COST; ALLOCATING' FROM SAID FUND THE AMOUNT OF $13,252.60 G` TO COVER THE COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING FROM SAID FUND THE AMOUNT OF $29410.00 TO COVER THE COST OF SUCH ITEMS AS ADVERTISING, TRSTING LABORATORIES, A0 POSTAGE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM WHEREAS, sealed bids were received July 7, 1981 for WYNDWOOD COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PAVING PROJECT - PHASE V, BID "B" (DRAINAGE); and WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of R.J.L. Trading Company for Bid "B" (Drainage) of the proposal, is the lowest responsible bid and recommends that ... a ,contract be awarded to said firm; and WHEREAS, funds for this project are available from the Federal Community Development Block Grant Fund; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF -THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The July 7, 1981 bid of R.J.L. Trading Company in the proposed amount of $120,487.40 for the project entitled WYNDWOOD COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PAVING PROJECT - PHASE V, BIDNB" (DRAINAGE) of the proposal, based on unit = prices, is hereby accepted at the price stated therein. Section 2. The amount of $120,487.40 is hereby allocated from the account entitled Federal Community Development Block Grant Fund to cover the cost of said contract. (For Commission Meeting of July 239 1981) The Department of Public Works and the Department of Community Development recommend adoption of the resolution 9$1 accepting the bid received July 79 of R.J.L. Trading Company in the amount of $120,487.40; and authorizing the City Manager to enter into a contract on behalf of the City of Miami for WYNDWOOD COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PAVING PROJECT - PH.V BID "B" (DRAINAGE). Bids were received July 7, 1981 for construction of a covered ditch drainage system in conjunction with the rebuildinAveg Nhewst36eStreet,in hN•aWeabounded Avenue,bN. and 2 N. W. 32 Street. As reflected in the tabulation of bids, the $120,487.40 bid of R.J.L. Trading Company is the lowest responsible bid for Bid "B" (Drainage) of the proposal.
