IN THE PROPOSED AMOUNT OF $40,752, BASE 81D OF THE PROPOSAL, FOR BELLE MEADE ISLAND .� r BRIDGE MODIFICATIONS =- 1981; WITH MONIES. 4 THEREFOR ALLOCATED FROM THE "HIGHWAY G.O.,, BOND FUND" IN THE AMOUNT OF $40,752 TO COVER THE CONTRACT COST; ALLOCATING ter FROM SAID FUND THE AMOUNT OF $4y483 TO COVER THE COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE; 3 ALLOCATING FROM SAID FUND THE AMOUNT OF $815 TO COVER THE COST OF SUCH ITEMS AS ADVERTISING, TESTING LABORATORIES, AND POSTAGE; ALLOCATING FROM SAID FUND THE AMOUNT OF $1,690 TO COVER THE INDIRECT COST; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM WHEREAS, sealed bids were received July 10, 1981 for BELLE MEADE ISLAND - BRIDGE MODIFICATIONS - 1981; and WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of Sunset Enterprises, Inc. for the base bid of the proposal, is the lowest responsible bid and recommends that a contract be awarded to said firm; and WHEREAS, the Capital Improvements Appropriation Ordinance No. 9199, as amended, was adopted on November 6, 1980, and monies are available for the proposed amount of the contract, project expense, incidentals, and indirect . cost from the account entitled "Highway G.O. Bond Fund", asset forth under Section II, Item B-9, of said ordinance; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The July 10, 1981 bid of Sunset Enterprises, Inc. in the proposed amount of $40,752 for the project entitled BELLE MEADE ISLAND - BRIDGE MODIFICA- TIONS - 1981, for the base bid of the proposal, based on unit prices, is hereby accepted at the price stated therein.
