Gary City Manager Albert Z6110 a4,irector Department of Leisure Services July 8, 1981 Proposed Ordinance Amendment No, 13 to Ordinance 9199 It is recommended that the Capital Improvement Appropriations Ordinance 9199, as amended, be further amended by increasing the appropriation for project IX.C.ii,ll, Day Care Centers Expansion, in the amount of $8,100, with funds appropriated from the Florida Power and Light Fund Balance, for the purpose of funding the overcost of the project, as per the attached ordinance. The Annual Capital Improvement Appropriations Ordinance No. 9199, adopted November 6, 1980, authorized $77,000 for the Day Care Centers Expansion Project for the Eaton, Moore and Shenandoah Centers. Public Works has processed the bid for the project and has . determined the total required funding to be $85,100, $6,100 over budgeted. Additional funds to cover this shortfall are available from the Florida Power and Light Fund Balance. It is, therefore, the recommendation of the Department of Leisure Services that the Capital Improvement Ordinance No. 9199, be further amended to appropriate from the Florida Power and Light Fund Balance, $8,100 to supply the additional funding required for completion of this project, as per the attached ordinance.
