The DMBA is planning a Downtown Saturday Shopping Campaign
for September 26, 1981. We are requesting a resolution
to allow us to close Flagler Street from Miami Avenue to
First Avenue and from First Avenue to Second Avenue,
leaving the avenues open to traffic.
We are planning a local advertising campaign and street
events for that day to encourage Miamians to come downtown
to shop.
