HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-81-0797RESOLUTION NO. 8 1` 7 9 7 A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE -FIAT ENTITLED MIAMI CONVENTION CENTER AMENDED, A SUB- DIVISION IN THE CITY OF MIAMI; AND ACCEPT- ING THE DEDICATIONS SHOWN ON SAID PLAT; AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE CITY MANAGER AND THE CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE THE PLAT AND PROVIDING FOR THE RECORDATION OF SAME. WHEREAS, the City Zoning Board and the Department of Public Works have recommended the acceptance of the herein plat; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The Plat entitled, "MIAMI CONVENTION CENTER AMENDED", being a replat of a portion of Lots 20, 21, 35, and 36 AMENDED PLAT OF A PART OF FORT DALLAS PARK, according to the plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 4 at Pages 85 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida; MIAMI CONVENTION CENTER -TRACT "A", according to the plat thereof, as recorded in Plat Book 115 at Page 47 of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, all lying in Section 37, Township 54 South, Range 41 East, City of Miami, Dade County, Florida; which by reference is made a part thereof as if fully incorporated herein and the dedications as shown thereon together with all existing and future planting, trees and shrubbery on said property, to the perpetual use of the public, are hereby accepted and confirmed by the City of Miami, Florida. Section 2. The City Manager and the City Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the Plat and providing for the recordation of same. Cather Director 25r %T&13�ublic Works Resolution Accepting Proposed Record Plat located between REFERENCES- Downtown Distributor (1-95) and Miami River West of S.E. ^iCL05'1RE5� 2nd Ave. Commission Meeting of Sept. 24, The Department of Public Works recommends the approval of the Plat by the City Commission of Miami, Florida, and certifies its correctness as to`form. The Proposed Record Plat entitled MIAMI-CONVENTION CENTER AMENDED is a replat of a portion of the AMENDED PLAT OF FORT DALLAS PARK (4-85) and MIAMI CONVENTION CENTER -TRACT "A" (115-47) and will consist of two (2) tracts having an area of 4.298+ acres. It is zoned C-3. This plat is being forwarded to your o7fice for City Commission Action. Also attached are the following itemized papers necessary to present the Plat to the City Commission of Miami: (1) Resolution accepting the Plat (2) Print of proposed record Plat (3) Opinion of Title . (4)- Portion of the City Atlas Sheet No. 36 showing property platted colored in red. WKB:es Attachments: As noted above THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS AUGUST 18, 1981 REPORT OF PROPOSED RECORD PLAT OF MIAMI CONVENTION CENTER AMENDED A SUBDIVISION IN THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA The accompanying Plat entitled MIAMI CONVENTION CENTER was prepared by The Department of Public Works of the City of Miami. It is in correct form for submission to the City Commission and is forwarded with a recommendation that it be approved. PERTINENT INFORMATION REGARDING THE PLAT: (1) The property platted is a replat of a portion of AMENDED PLAT OF FORT DALLAS PARK (4-85); MIAMI CONVENTION CENTER -TRACT " A" (115-47) and S.E. 4th Street. It will consist of two (2) Tracts having a total area of 4.298± acres. It is zoned C-3. (2) The location of the streets and the widths conform with the standards of the Department of Public Works of the City of Miami, Florida. _ (3) As certified to by Walter K. Brown, Registered Land Surveyor, this Plat complies with the plat filing laws of the State of I' Florida. (4) By authority of Resolution No. 159-80, adopted July 21, 1980, the Plat was recommended for acceptance by the City of Miami Zoning Board of Miami, Florida. (5) The attached Certificate of Title Examination dated 551EP 7 /M, signed by Terry V. Percy, Assistant City Attorney, indicates that the fee simple title to the property platted is correctly vested in the City of Miami and the Plat has beery correctly executed by its proper officials.
