HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-81-0825RESOLUTION NO. 8 1- 8 2 5 A RESOLUTION APPOINTING ROBERT MACK TO SERVE AS A MEMBER OF THE CITY AFFIRMATIVE ACTION ADVISORY BOARD UNTIL DECEMBER 8, 1981 AND CONFIRMING THE DESIGNATION OF SUCH INDIVIDUAL AS BEING SELECTED BY A _ CERTIFIED BARGAINING REPRESENTATIVE OF CITY EMPLOYEES. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The following individual is hereby confirmed as having been selected by a certified bargaining representa- tive of City employees to serve as a member of the City Affirmative Action Advisory Board and is hereby appointed to serve as a Board member until December 8, 1981: ROBERT MACK, Miami General Employees, AFSCME Local 1907 PASSED AND ADOPTED this 24 day of September , 1981. Krause-, REFERENCES Director Department of Human Resources ENCLOSURES: It is recommended that Mr. Robert Mack, designated by Miami General Employees, AFSCME Local 1907 as their representative to that Board be confirmed by the City Commission. Attached please find draft resolu- tion to that effect. Mr. Mack has been selected by a certified bargaining representative of City employees to serve the remainder of the term of Mr. Roderick Silva who retired from the City's Service. Mr. Silva was appointed by Resolution 79-135 for a term ending 12/9/81. Section 1 of Ordinance 9139 provides for the City Commission to confirm members who have been selected by certified bargaining re- presentatives of City employees to that Board, and in accordance with administrative policy I am notifying you of the above so that your of- fice may advise the Commission.
