The attached ordinance sets forth an increased schedule of fees for burials at the City Cemetery. Inasmuch as Cemetery fees have not been adjusted since 1968 and costs to the City have risen considerably in the last 13 years, the Parks Department recommends the increase. The proposed rates are in line with those of other area cemeteries. If adopted these fees would result in an increase in revenue of $2, 205 for the same number of burials as in prior years.
