`A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING SIX (6) RIGHT OF WAY DEEDS
Off` DEDICATION FOR WIDENING N.W. 7 COURT BETWEEN
N.W. 52 AND 54 STREETS AND WAIVING THE ASSESSMENTS
FOR STREET IMPROVEMENTS ON N.W. 7 COURT UNDER
MANOR HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT - PHASE I H-4465 AGAINST
F THOSE PROPERTIES WHOSE OWNERS EXECUTED SAID RIGHT
OF WAY DEEDS.
WHEREAS, The City of Miami has awarded a contract for 'con-
struction of Manor Highway Improvement -Phase I in Manor Highway
Improvement District -Phase I. H-4465; and
WHEREAS, Manor Highway Improvement -Phase I includes rebuild-
ing N:W: 7 Court between N.W. 52 Street and N.W. 54 Street; and
WHEREAS, it was necessary for the City to acquire certain
right of way along both sides of N.W. 7 Court between N.W. 52
Street and N.W. 54 Street; and
WHEREAS, certain affected property owners have executed
and delivered Deeds of Dedication for the required land in consider-
ation of a waiver of the assessments for street improvements on
N.W. 7 Court; and
WHEREAS, the value of the land dedicated by each of the
affected property owners exceeds the value of the assessment for
improvements on N.W. 7 Court abutting their properties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Deed of Dedication executed by Johnnie and
Jean Savage and recorded in O.R. Book 11149, pg. 1321, on July 7,
1981, for dedication of a portion of Lot 12, Block 2 BOWLING GREEN
SUBDIVISION P.B. 5-101 is hereby accepted.

Section 2. The Deeds of Dedication executed by the New
ProVidence Missionary Baptist Church and recorded in O.R. Book 11149,
pg. 1311 and 1313, on July 7, 1981, for dedication of a portion of Lots 1,
11& 12,Block 2 SYLVAN SQUARE SUBDIVISION P.B. 16-35, and a portion
of Lot 11, Block 2 BOWLING GREEN SUBDIVISION P.B. 5-101,are hereby
accepted.
Section 3. The Deed of Dedication executed by Willie and
Ruby Gunn and recorded in O.R. Book 11068, pg.,1057, on April 10,
1981, for dedication of a portion of Lot 16, 816ck 1 BOWLING GREEN
SUBDIVISION P.B. 5-101, is hereby accepted.
Section 4. The Deed of Dedication executed by Francis
Cohen and recorded in O.R. Book 11149, pg. 1323, on July 7, 1981,
for dedication of a portion of Lot 1, Block 1 SYLVAN SQUARE
SUBDIVISION P.B. 16-35, is hereby accepted.
Section 5. The Deed of Dedication executed by Harold Brown
and recorded in O.R. Book 11068, pg. 1071, on April 10, 1981, for
dedication of a portion of Lot 13, Block 1 SYLVAN SQUARE SUBDIVISION
P.B. 16-35, is hereby accepted.
Section 6. The assessments for street improvements on
N.W. 7 Court under Manor Highway Improvement - Phase I H-4465 against
the aforementioned properties are hereby waived.

On July 9, 1981, the City of Miami awarded contracts for construc-
tion of Manor Highway Improvement -Phase I H-4465. This project,
now under construction, includes rebuilding N.W. 7 Court between
N.W. 52 and 54 Streets. In order to construct N.W. 7 Court to
City standards, it was necessary to acquire certain right of way
along both sides of N.W. 7 Court.
Since the value of the land dedicated by each of the affected
property owners exceeds the value of the assessments for street
improvements on N.W. 7 Court, the City of Miami should waive the
assessments against those properties whose owners dedicated the
necessary right of way.
This resolution accepts the six right of way deeds and waives the
assessments for street improvements on N.W. 7 Court against the
affected properties.
