Cather REFERENCES!(For Commission Meeting Director of Publ Works of October 7, 1981) t4CLCSURES: The Department of Public Works recommends the adoption of the resolution ordering the MANOR HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT - PHASE II in the MANOR HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT - PHASE II - H-4473. In a continuing effort to serve Miami, plans and speci- fications are being prepared to provide highway im- provements in the area bounded approximately by N. W. 52 Street, N. W. 12 Avenue, N. W. 49 Street, and N. W. 7 Avenue., To serve this area, the Department of Public Works has designated the MANOR HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT - PHASE II - H-4473 as an assessable improvement under Section 56 of the City Charter. i rL 2 ./ . B. Most of the streets in the Manor area have parkways in poor condition due to c.:�tensive on -street parking; pavement that is out of Grade or off center; and extensive drainage problems. C. The proposed improvements will include new asphaltic pavement,, concrete sidewalk, storm drainage facilities, concrete curbs and/or gutters and landscaping. D. Manor Highway Improvement - Phase II is included in the City of Miami's Capital Improvement Program. ACTION TO FEE TAKEN 1. A local improvement described as MANOR HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT - PHASE II H-4473 shall be made under Section 56 of the Charter of the City of Miami, as amended, located in the area bounded by N.W. 51 Terrace and N.W. 52 Street on the north, N.W. 49 Street on the south, N.W. 7 Avenue on the east and N.W. 12 Avenue on the west. 2. This improvement shall include clearing and grading, construc- tion of asphaltic concrete pavement, concrete sidewalk, concrete curbs and/or gutters, storm drainage facilities and landscaped areas. �I - 8 9 6 9/18/81
