PAVING PROJECT - PHASE IV; WITH MONIES THEREFOR ALLOCATED FROM THE "FEDERAL COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT" IN THE AMOUNT OF $282,954.77 TO COVER THE CONTRACT COST; ALLOCATING FROM SAID FUND THE AMOUNT OF $31,125.23 TO COVER THE COST OF PROJECT EXPENSE; ALLOCATING FROM SAID FUND THE AMOUNT OF $5,66o.00 TO COVER THE COST OF SUCH ITEMS AS ADVERTISING, TESTING LABORATORIES, AND POSTAGE; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH SAID FIRM WHEREAS, sealed bids were received September 17, 1981 for ALLAPATTAH C.D. PAVING PROJECT - PHASE IV; and WHEREAS, the City Manager reports that the bid of P.N.M. Corporation for Bid "A" (Highway) of the proposal, is the lowest responsible bid and recommends that a contract be awarded to said firm; and WHEREAS, funds for this project are available from the "Federal Community Development Block Grant Fund"; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The September 17, 1981 bid of P.N.M. Corporation, in the proposed amount of $282,954.77 for the project entitled ALLAPATTAH C.D. PAVING PROJECT - PHASE IV, for Bid "A" (Highway) of the proposal, based on unit prices, is hereby accepted at the price stated therein. Section 2. The amount of $282,954.77 is hereby allocated from the account entitled "Federal Community Development Block Grant Fund" to cover the cost of said contract. Corporation in the amount of $282,954-77; and authorizing the City Manager to enter into a contract on behalf of the City of Miami for ALLAPATTAH C.D. PAVING PROJECT PHASE IV (BID "At' HIGHWAY). Bids were received September 17, 1981 for rebuilding 0.5 mile of streets in area bordered by N. W. 28 Street, N. W. 32 Street N. W. 23 Avenue, and N. W. 24 Avenue. Improvements will include new asphaltic pavement, concrete curbs and/or gutters, concrete sidewall.-I, drainage, and landscaping. As reflected in the tabulation of bids, the $282,954-77 bid of P.N.M. Corporation is the lowest responsible bid for Bid "All (Highway) of the proposal.
