MANOR HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT - PHASE II H-4473
As part of the City -aide street improvement program, the City
of Miami is planning to rebuild the following streets:

The proposed improvements will include new asphaltic pavement,
concrete curbs and/or gutters, concrete sidewalk, storm drainage
facilities and landscaped areas. The new streets will have two
driving, lanes bordered by a two -foot wide concrete curb and gutter
or valley gutter. Additional pavement will be constructed between
the valley gutter and the sidewalk for use as an on -street parkin;
area. Landscaped park;lays will be constructed on all streets
greater than 50 feet in width. On 50 foot wide streets landscaped
planters will be provided there practical. Drainage facilities
will be installed where necessary.
Althourh the City pays the cost for all drainage construction, part
of the cost (250) of the street improvements must be assessed to
the abutting; property o,:nero as required by the City Charter. The
estimated assessments for this project vary according to the width
Of the right of way adjacent to your property. A complete schedule
of estimated assessment: is shown on page 2. These assessments are
per foot of your property fronting on the street to be improved.
Your assessment can be paid in full when you receive your assessment
notice in approximately two years, or if you prefer, it can be paid
over a 10-year period in equal annual installments with 5°0 simple
interest on the unpaid balance.

Las propuestas mejoras incluiran nuevo pavimento asfgltico,
contenes de concreto y/o cunetas, aceras de concreto,
facilidades para el drenaje pluvial, y 6reas de jardines
ornamentales. Las nuevas calles tendran dos vias de conducir,
bordeadas por contenes de concreto de dos pies de ancho,
o cunetas de desague. Se construira pavimento adicional
entre dichas cunetas y las aceras para utilizarlo como areas
de estacionamiento. Areas ornamentales se construirgn en
aquellas calles con un ancho mayor de 50 pies. En las calles
de 50 pies de ancho se proveeran jardineras donde sea practico.
Se instalaran tambien facilidades para drenaje donde sean
necesarias.
Aunque la Ciudad paga por el costo de toda la construcci6n
del sistema de drenaje, parte del costo (25%) de las mejoras
a las calles ha de ser adjudicado a las propiedades adyacentes
de acuerdo a los Estatutos Municipales. E1 amillaramiento
estimado para este proyecto varia de acuerdo al ancho de la
vla p5blica adyacente a su propiedad. Una lista de los amilla-
ramientos estimados aparece en la pagina 2. Estas cantidades
son por pie de frente de su propiedad adyacente a las mejoras.
Usted podra pagar su amillaramiento en total al recibir su
notificaci6n dentro de dos anos aproximadamente, o si prefiere,
puede extender sus pagos sobre un periodo de 10 anos, mas el
5% de inter6s simple sobre el balance remanente.
