A RESOLUTION CONVEYING THE DEEPEST SYMPATHY
TO THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS OF MAX FRIEDSON.
WHEREAS, Mr. Max Friedson, known as "Mr. Senior Citizen"
throughout the State of Florida, founded the Congress of Senior
Citizens in 1964, one of this community's most dynamic organiza-
tions; and
WHEREAS, exemplifying profound dedication and commitment,

Mr. Friedson touched the lives of countless thousands of senior
citizens, as well as others in need, helping improve immeasurably
their quality of life; and
WHEREAS, our community and all those privileged to have
known and loved Mr. Max Friedson are saddened by the passing of
this beloved champion on November 10, 1981;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Commission hereby conveys to the family and
friends of Max Friedson its deepest sympathy and profound sense of
loss on behalf of the Citizens of Miami upon his death.
Section 2. The herein Resolution is offered by the City Commis-
sion as a token of its respect and esteem.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 12 day of November , 1981.
