AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 6871, THE
COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY
OF MIAMI, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION
OF THE AREA GENERALLY BOUNDED BY APPROXIMATELY
N. W. LOTH AVENUE, N.W. 17TH STREET, N.-W. 9TH
AVENUE, N. W. 18TH STREET, N. W. 8TH AVENUE
AND THE WEST DUNBAR SCHOOL SITE (75-87), BEING
TENTATIVE. PLAT #1103 - "HIGHLAND PARK DRIVE
SECTION ONE", FROM R-4 (MEDIUM DENSITY MULTIPLE)
AND C-1 (LOCAL COMMERCIAL) to GU (GOVERNMENTAL
USE), AS PER ATTACHED MAP, AND BY MAKING ALL
THE NECESSARY CHANGES IN THE ZONING DISTRICT
MAP MADE A PART OF SAID ORDINANCE NO. 6871, BY
REFERENCE AND DESCRIPTION IN ARTICLE III,
SECTION 2, THEREOF; BY REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES,
CODE SECTIONS, OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT; AND
CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE.
WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisoty Board at its meeting
of September 16, 1981, Item #A(a), following an advertised hearing,
adopted Resolution No. PAY 52-81 by a 7 to 0 vote RECOMMENDING
APPROVAL of a change o `zoning classification as hereinafter
set forth; and
WHEREA the Commission a ` careful consideration
of this matt de it advisabl n in t best interest of
the general e f of the C y Miam its inhabitants to
grant this chan of n-ng c sification as hereinafter set
forth;
NOW, HEREFO , EQ ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLOITIDA
Section 1. �Orcyina*e No. 6871, the Comprehensive Zoning
Ordinance for the Cif of Miami, be and the same is hereby amended
by changing the zoning classification of the area generally bounded
by approximately N. W. loth Avenue, N. W. 17th Street, N. W. 9th
Avenue, N. W. 18th Street, N. W. 8th Avenue and the West Dunbar
