A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER
AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE A QUIT CLAIM DEED
CONVEYING TO THE 1690 SOUTH BAYSHORE LANE
INCORPORATED THAT CERTAIN TEN (10) FOOT
STRIP LYING BETWEEN LOTS 3 AND 4 IN BLOCK
3 OF FAIRVIEW (4-176),
WHEREAS, 1690 South Bayshore Lane Incorporated is the fee
simple owner of Lots 3 and 4 of FAIRVIEW (4-176), and
WHEREAS, said 1690 South Bayshore Lane Incorporated is
replatting their property including the ten (10) foot strip lying
between Lots 3 and 4 to be known as the PAWLEY DEVELOPMENT
CORPORATION PLAT, and
WHEREAS, the original owners of FAIRVIEW quit claimed all
their right, title and interest in the streets of FAIRVIEW to the
City of Miami in March 1937 and recorded in Deed Book 1856 at Page
309-10 of the Public Records, and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami has constructed and maintained a
storm drainage system for FAIRVIEW through said ten (10) foot strip;
and
WHEREAS, the aforementioned owners and developers of the
property have agreed to relocate said storm drainage system at their
expense and grant an eighteen (18) foot easement at the southerly
end of their property in exchange for said ten (10) foot strip; and
WHEREAS, the City Attorney recommends the City grant this
Quit Claim Deed prior to or in conjunction with the acceptance of
PAWLEY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION PLAT;
NOW THEREFOREBE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The City Manager and the City Clerk of the City
of Miami are hereby authorized to execute and deliver to 1690 South
Bayshore Lane Incorporated a Quit Claim Deed to that certain ten (10)
foot strip lying between Lots 3 and 4 of Block 3 of FAIRVIEW according
to the plat thereof as recorded in Plat Book 4 at Page 176 of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida,

ADOPTION OF THE ATTACHED RESOLUTION CON-
VEYING TO 1690 SOUTH BAYSHORE LANE, INC.
THAT CERTAIN TEN (10) FOOT STRIP LYING
BETWEEN LOTS 3 AND 4 BLOCK 3 OF FAIRVIEW
(4-176) AND AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE CITY MANAGER AND CITY CLERK TO EXECUTE
A QUIT CLAIM DEED THEREFOR.
The 1690 South Bayshore Lane, Inc. is replatting Lots 3 and 4 and
the ten (10) foot strip lying between them of FAIRVIEW as recorded
in Plat Book 4 at Page 176 of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida. The Plat is known as the PAWLEY DEVELOPMENT CORPORATION
PLAT. The City Commission approved the closure of the ten (10)
foot strip by Resolution No. 81-913. The Plat was accepted by the
City of Miami Zoning Board by authority of Resolution No. 203-81.
