AN ORDINANCE AMENDING SECTIONS 1 AND 5 OF
ORDINANCE NO, 9821 ADOPTED SEPTEMBER 24, 1981,
THE ANNUAL APPROPRIATIONS ORDINANCE FOR THE
FISCAL YEAR ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 19829 AS
AMENDED, BY INCREASING THE APPROPRIATION FOR
GENERAL OBLIGATION BONDS IN THE AMOUNT 05
$151,198 AND BY INCREASING REVENUES IN THE SAME
AMOUNT FROM FY '81 DEBT SERVICE FUND BALANCE
FOR THE PURPOSE OF PROVIDING FUNDING TO PAY FOR
$151,198 OF ADDITIONAL INTEREST PAYMENTS FOR FY
182,, CONTAINING A.REPEALER PROVISION; AND A
SEVERABILITY CLAUSE.
WHEREAS, the City Commission adopted Ordinance No. 9321 on
September 24, 1981, establishing revenues and appropriations for the City
of Miami, Florida, for the fiscal year ending September 30, 1982; and
WHEREAS, funds are needed to pay for additional interest expendi-
tures in the General Obligation bond appropriation in the amount of
$151,198 and;
WHEREAS, funds in the amount of $151,198 are available from the
FY '81 fund balance in the City's Debt Service Fund and can be allocated
for the aforementioned purpose;
NOW, THEREFORE9 BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Sections 1 and 5 of Ordinance No. 9321, adopted,
September 24, 1981, the annual appropriations ordinance for the fiscal year,
ending September 30, 1982, as amended, is hereby further amended in the
following particulars:

words and/or figures constitute the amendment proposed. The remaining
provisions are now in effect and remain unchanged. Asterisks indicate
ommmited and unchanged material. All figures are rounded to the next
dollar.

Section 2. The herein increase of $151,198 for the General
Obligation Bond appropriation and the corresponding increase in FY 81 Debt
Service Fund balance is for the purpose of providing the funds to play for
additional interest expenditures for FY 182.
Section 3. All ordinances or parts of ordinances insofar as they
are inconsistent or in conflict with the provisions of this ordinance are
hereby repealed,

Section 56 This ordinance it hereby declared to be an twgthty
measure on the grounds of urgent public need for the preservation Of PeAtOj
health, safety, and property of the City of Miami, and upon the further
grounds of the necessity to make the required and necessary payments to its
employees and officers, payment of its contracts, payment of interest and
principal on its debts, necessary and required purchases of goods and
supplies, and to generally carry on the functions and duties Of its
municipal affairs.
Section 6. The requirement of reading this ordinance on two
separate days is hereby dispensed with by a vote of not less than four -
fifths of the members of the Commission.
