RESOLUTION NO.
RESOLUTION GRANTING A VARIANCE FROM ORDINANCE
N 6871, ARTICLE VIII, SECTION 3(2) (a), 3 (3)
(a TO PERMIT CONSTRUCTION OF A BEDROOM AND FAMILY
R00 ADDITION TO AN EXISTING SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING
ON 7.4' OF S96.4' OF E55.5' OF LOT 12, BLOCK "T",
RIVE IEW (5-43), BEING 551 S.W. 8TH COURT, AS
PER S E PLAN ON FILE. WITH A 9" SIDE YARD PROPOSED
(9' RE UIRED), AND A 5.1' REAR YARD (20' REQUIRED);
ZONED R 4 (MEDIUM DENSITY MULTIPLE).
WHEREAS, the Mia ' Zoning Board at its meeting of October 5,
1981, Item No. 2, follow g an advertised hearing, adopted Resolution
No. ZB 175-81 by a 4 to 2 ote (1 member absent) DENYING Variance
as hereinafter set forth; a
WHEREAS, the applicant as taken an appeal from the denial
of the variance to the City Co ission; and
WHEREAS, the City Commissi notwithstanding the denial of
the Zoning Board, and after carefu consideration of this matter
finds that due to peculiar circumst ces affecting this parcel of
land, practical difficulties and unne essary hardships would
impair the owner's right to the reason a le use of the property
without the variance granted as hereinaf r set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE IVOMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The request for a variance as r Ordinance No.
6871, Article VIII, Section 3(2) (a), 3 (3) (a), t permit construction
of a bedroom and family room addition to an existinE\single family
dwelling on N37.4' of S96.4' of E55.5' of Lot 12, Bloc "T",
