January 28 is a date revered by freedom loving Cubans all over the world. -
This date marks the birthday of Cuban Patriot Jose Marti. Since the dat.,
this year falls on a day when the City Commission meets, I would like to
use the Commission Chambers for a brief (app. 20 minutes) ceremony where
recognition will be made of the legacy of the ideals of Jose Marti. The
act of course, will be open to all the people of Miami.
