The City of Miami's Department of Recreation will again, as it has over the last seventeen years, host the 18th Annual National Clergymen's Golf Tournament May 4 and 5, 1982 at the City of Miami's Melreese Golf Course. Each year, an appropriation has been designated in support of this worthwhile event, which brings much notoriety to the City j of Miami. This year, as per the policy of the Department of Management and Budget, the allocation must be drawn from the Special Programs and Accounts, Quality of Life Contingency Fund via an appropriate resolution. Therefore, it is recommended that $1,500, which is approximately 50% of the required operational cost, be allocated from the above -mentioned account to supplement the cost in conducting the 18th Annual Clergymen's Golf Tournament, as per the attached authorizing resolution.
