HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-82-0107t RESOLUTION NO. 8 P 1 0 A RESOLUTION CONFIRMING THE ELECTION OF RAY PENLAND AND A. G. SHERMAN TO SERVE A 2 YEAR TERM AS MEMBERS OF THE CIVIL SERVICE BOARD. WHEREAS, the City Charter provides for the election of members to the Civil Service Board; and WHEREAS, HOWARD V. GARY, City Manager of the City of Miami, Florida, has reported to the City Commission that the employees hereinafter named were duly and regularly elected by the employees of the City of Miami, Florida, in elections held on December 11 and 18, 1981, as representatives on the Civil Service Board of the City of Miami, as follows: ELECTION OF DECEMBER 11, 1981 CANDIDATES VOTES SEAT # 1 RAY PENLAND 632 (unopposed) SEAT #2 JOHN AUSTEN 44 ARMANDO "MANDY" FRAMIL 169 PETER JOFFRE 347 GARY SHARTZER 56 A. The election of RAY PENLAND and A. G. SHERMAN as members of the Civil Service Board of the City of Miami, to serve for a term of 2 years from the date hereof, is hereby confirmed. Adams and William J. Rabun to the Retirement Board of the Miami City General Employees Retirement Plan and the election of Ray Penland and A. G. Sherman to the Civil Service Board.
