Reference is made to my April 9, 1982 memorandum regarding
newspaper advertising. The City Clerk has revised Motion
82-186 to read as follows:
"A Motion instruc:ing the City ;Ianaaer to advertise
all City departments (including the City Attorney
and City Clerk's office) that display advertising
shall, in the future, be limited to the Miami News,
Diario de las Americas, the Miami Review, the Miami
Times and that two weekly Hispanic publications,
namelyEl Universal and E1 Expreso be included in
said display advertising, provided they are properly
certified as having a minimum circulation of 10,000
and further instructing the City Manager to make a
survey of all minority newspapers in the area to
determine possible future City of Miami advertising
in those newspapers."
Therefore the current authorized advertising media for display
ads are the Miami News, Diario de las Americas, the Miami
Review, the Miami Times, El Universal and E1 Expresso.
