SUBJE:T Proposed Resolution - Greater
Miami Women's Golf Association
REFERE14CES
ENCLOSURES
It is recommended that the City grant free
green fees for the Greater Miami Women's
Golf Association on May 17, 1982 at the
Country Club of Miami Springs and June 22,
1982, at Melreese Golf Course and further
requiring use of electric carts by each
golfer on said tournament, as per the at-
tached resolution.
The City of Miami has, in the past, allowed the Greater Miami
Women's Golf Association two days use of the City golf courses requir-
ing mandatory electric carts with free green fees. They are
also receiving free green fees at other municipal courses;
Biltmore in Coral Gables and the County course at Palmetto.
The group normally plays between 60 to 80 women whom support
our golf courses throughout the year.
It is, therefore, the recommendation of the Department of
Leisure services, that the request for free green fees for
May 17, and June 22, 1982, be granted to the Greater Miami a
Women's Golf Association.
