HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-82-0155RESOLUTION NO. 8 2 - 15 5 A RESOLUTION CLOSING, VACATING, ABANDONING AND DISCONTINUING THE PUBLIC USE OF THE NORTH -SOUTH ALLEY SOUTH OF THE SOUTH RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF N. W. 33RD STREET AND NORTH OF THE NORTH RIGHT-OF- WAY LINE OF N. W. 32ND STREET, FOR A DISTANCE OF + 216'; IN CONJUNCTION WITH TENTATIVE PLAT 7f1124-A "A.C. SUBDIVISION". WHEREAS, the Miami Zoning, Board at its meeting of November 2, 1981, Item No. 9, following an advertised hearing, adopted Resolution No. ZB 201-81 by a 4 to 0 vote (2 members absent) RECOMMENDING APPROVAL of the official vacation and closure of an alley, as hereinafter set forth; and WHEREAS, the City Commission deems its advisable and in the best interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami and its inhabitants to grant the vacation and closure of the alley in question: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The North - South alley south of the south right-of-way line of N. W. 33rd Street and north of the north right-of-way line of N. W. 32nd Street, for a distance of +216'; in conjunction with Tentative Plat #1124-A "A.C. SUBDIVISION" be and the same is hereby closed, vacated, abandoned and discontinued for public use. Subdivision it has come to my attention that the City of Miami is in need of Trees for various im- provement projects. I greatly appreciate the cooperation which I have received from this Commission and would therefore like to donate Ten (10) Trees to be used in the Culmer/Overtown Shopping Center and Supermarket. We propose to deliver the trees to the City of Miamis' , Culmer Overtown Project. The trees are to be planted by, City of Miami personnell. The trees can be delivered with approxametly three days notice.
