Gary City Manager t Cesar Odi o Assistant City Manager March 3, 1982 Assignment of Boat Rental Concession at the Marine Stadium The Concession Agreement between the City and Marine Stadium Enterprises, Inc. provides, under 2. Use of Premises, that upon written approval of the City Manager or his designated representative, the operator may request other purposes or uses not specifically included in the agreement which may be necessary or desirable. Pursuant to the authority of the cited provision, Marine Stadium Enterprises, Inc., by letter, was granted rental of small power driven boats in June of 1979. The rental of said boats was to be prohibited during those days on which power racing events were being held in the Marine Stadium. A request was received from Mr. Hancock for permission to assign Marine Stadium Enterprises, Inc.'s boat rental rights to Biscayne Boat Rentals, Inc. Biscayne Boat Rentals, Inc. will rent boats under the terms of the concession agreement between the City and Marine Stadium Enterprises, Inc. Currently, the City will receive 10.30/11 of gross income derived from this operation. The proposed agreement assigning Marine Stadium Enterprises, Inc. boat rental rights to Biscayne Boat Rentals, Inc. has been submitted to the City Attorney for review as to legality, form and content. Preliminary discussions with the City Attorney's Office indicate that there are minor changes as to form for the proposed boat rental assignment. r _ -ITY OF To Howard Gary 03-03-82 RILE: City Manager Eugene A.
