Roof Structure Analysis For your information, fabric and tensil,telefon coated,fiberglass roofs are not practical for this facility because of the following reasons. 1. They are too expensive for the budget 2. They can not be fabricated in time to meet the October 1, 1982 deadline. Steel companies are slow now and can fabricate to meet deadline Roof deck to include steel joist/beams/decking/roofing material at a cost of $6.00 to $7.00 sq. ft. B. Fabric Roof . Not permanent -life span 5 - 10 years Expensive due to application, color, and exposure Cost is $15.00/sq. ft for material and roof frame only. Material 'is a- vinyl coated fabric Can not be fabricated in time to meet deadline. C. The City to assign the director of public works or his top assistant to be the project expediter. 2. The City to pay all invoices within seven (7) days after receipt of invoice or pay 1/3 of the contract amount upfront and the balance to billed based upon percentage of completion. 3. The City to acknowledge all waivers of building codes requirements and ordinances that they choose not to adhered to because of cost consideration. 4. The City to provide the basic program,describing all items required in the facility. 5. The City to set up a special meeting with$ Building and Zoning officials to clarify and interpret all code requirements prior to starting job and expedite the building permit process. N 0 82-ry04
