AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 6871, AS AMENDED, THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI, BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION OF THE AREA BOUNDED BY APPROXI- 14ATELY NORTH MIAMI AVENUE, NORTHEAST. SECOND AVENUE AND A LINE + 104' NORTH OF, SOUTH OF, AND PARALLEL TO NORTHEAST 42ST STREET, FROM R-C (RESIDENTIAL OFFICE) TO C-5 (LIBERAL COMMERCIAL); AND BY MAKING ALL THE NECESSARY CHANGES IN THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP MADE A PART OF SAID ORDINANCE NO. 6871, BY REFERENCE A14D DESCRIPTION IN ARTICLE III, SECTION 2, THEREOF, BY REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, CODE SECTIONS, OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT AND CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board at its meeting of November 18, 1981, Item No. 9(a), following an advertised hearing adopted Resolution No. PAB 73-81 by a 7 to 0 vote, RECOMMENDING APPROVAL of a change of oning classificati n as hereinafter set forth; and ., WHEREAS, the C' Commi sio er/areful consideration of this matter a advisable d n e best interest of the general welfar f the i y Miami• d its inhabitants to grant this change o zoning 1 ficati as hereinafter set forth; NOW, T EREFORE, E ORDA ED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: f, Section 1. Ordinance )(o. 6871, as amended, the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance for the City of Miami, be and the same is hereby r x d amended by changing the Zoning classification of the area bounded by approximately North iami Avenue, Northeast Second Avenue and a line +104' North of South of, and parallel to Northeast 41st Street, from R-C (Re idential Office) to C-5 (Liberal Commercial), and by making then essary changes in the zoning district map made a part of said Ordinance No. 6871, by reference and description in Article III, Sec ion 2, thereof.
