AN ORDINANCE: AMENDING ORDINANCE
140. G871, AS ANENDE:D, THE COMPREHENSIVE.
ZONING ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI,
BY CHANGING THE ZONING CLASSIFICATION
OF AN AREA GENERALLY BOUNDED BY THE
MIAMI RIVER ON THE NORTH, THE RAPID
TRANSIT (HET'RORAIL) RIGHT-OF-WAY ON THE
WEST, SOUTH 8TH STREET ON THE SOUTH AND
A LINE APPROXIMATELY 190' WEST OF AND
PARALLEL TO BRICKELL AVENUE ON THE EAST,
EXCLUDING LOTS 3 - 7 AND 13 - 16 OF
BLOCK 107 - A, MARY BRICK,'LL ADDITION,
AMENDED, PLAT BOOK B-113 , FROM R-CB
RESIDENTIAL OFFICE, C-2 COMMUNITY COM-
MERCIAL, C-4 GENERAL COMMERCIAL AND W-R
WATERFRONT RECREATIONAL TO MXD-2 COMMER-
CIAL RESIDENTIAL MIXED USE DISTRICT, AND
BY MAKING ALL THE NECESSARY CHANGES IN
THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP MADE A PART OF
SAID ORDINANCE NO. 6871, 1t33Y REFERENCE
AND DESCRIPTION IN ARTICLE III, SECTION
2, `. HEPEOF, BY REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES,
CODE SECTIONS, OR PARTS THEREOF IN CON-
FLICT AND CONTAINING A SEVERAPILITY
CLAUSE.
WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board at its
meeting of November 18, 1981, Item No. 1(c), following an
advertised hearing, adopted Resolution NO. PAB 68-81, by a
7 to 0 vote, RECONNENDING APPROVAL of a change of zoning
classification as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission after careful considera-
tion of this matter deems it advisable and in the best
interest of the general welfare of the City of Niami and its
inhabitants to grant this change of zoning classification as
hereinafter set forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF NIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 6871, as amended, the Com-
prehensive Zoning Ordinance for the City of Miami, be and
the same is hereby amended by changing the zoning classifi-
cation of an area generally bounded by the Miami River on
the North, the Rapid Transit (Metrorail) right-of-way on the
