Section 1. Ordinance No. 6871, as amended, the Compre-
hensive Zoning Ordinance for the City of Miami, be and the
sane is hereby amended by adding a new Article XTV-2 COHMER-
CIAL RESIDENTIAL MXD-1, MXD-2, MXD-3 District to read as

than the items listed. The total floor area occupied by all
uses in this paragraph shall not exceed FAR .5 and no in-
dividual establishment shall exceed 4,000 square feet in
floor area.

Section 5 - SETBACVS AND MINIMUM SPACING BETWEEN BUILDINGS
(1.) Front and side street setbacks:
a) All structures shall be set back a minimum of
10 feet from the base building line, with the
_exception of awnings, canopies or similar append-
ages intended to provide shade for pedestrians
at street level,
_ b) The ground floor level of all buildings shall
be set back a maximum of 20 feet from the base
building line, except in a qualified Arcade,
Urban Plaza or Through Block Connection as
defined in Section 10.
(2) Interior Side and Rear Lot Line Setbacks:
a) There shall be no required setback for non-
residential uses along interior and rear lot
Lines. However, if any open space is provided
along an interior side or rear lot line, it
shall he at least 10 feet in width,

vided in Section 15 shall ensure that all
yard areas adjacent to public streets are
developed in accord with approved Design
Standards.
c) The first twenty (20) feet of setback area
required by Section 3(4) of the Charter shall
be made permanently accessible to the public
and developed with a landscaped pedestrian
walkway.
