A RESOLUTION ACCEPTI14G THE COMPLETED WORK
OF RUSSELL, INC. AT A TOTAL COST OF
$294,241.32 FOR BUENA VISTA COMMU14ITY
DEVELOPMENT PAVING PROJECT - PHASE V -
(BID "A" - HIGHWAY); AND AUTHORIZING A
FILIAL PAYMENT OF $29,424.13
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated December 30,
1980 between the City of Miami and Russell, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed,
and Russell, Inc. has furnished the required documents
certifying; that all bills for labor and materials have been
paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, the City I4anager and the Department of
Public Works recommend that the completed work be accepted
and final payment made to the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF hiIAIMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by Russell,
Inc. for BUENA VISTA COMIMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PAVING PROJECT -
PHASE V -(BID "A" - HIGHWAY) at a total cost of $294,241.32
is hereby approved.
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of
Miami are hereby authorized to pay $29,424.13 to Russell,
Inc. as full and final payment for all work performed and
all materials furnished in connection with BUENA VISTA
COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PAVING PROJECT - PHASE V -(BID "A" -
HIGHWAY).
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 16 day of MARCH , 1982.

Russell, Inc. has completed the pro.ect censistin-- of con-
structing 0.5 mile of street, includinc, asphaltic pavement,
concrete curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, and landscaping,
located on N. W. 5 !!venue bet,een N. W. 46-54 Streets.
This was a unit price contract in the amount of $309,131.50,
and the completed amount is $294,241.32. It 1•ras completed
on time.
It is now in order for the Commission to accept the comp"Leted
work and authorize final payment, after all conditions are
met.
