ORDINANCE NO
AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 6871,
AS AMENDED, THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING
ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI, BY
APPLYING ARTICLE XXI-7 HERITAGE CONSER-
VATION: RESIDENTIAL - OFFICE SPECIAL
OVERLAY DISTRICT TO THE FOLLOWING PROPER-
TIES: 1) PETIT DOUY - 1500 BRICKELL
AVENUE, LOTS 41 AND 42, BLOCK 551
BRICKELL'S FLAGLER (5-44); 2) WARNER
HOUSE, 111 SOUTHWEST 5TH AVENUE, LOTS 8
AND 9, BLOCK 18, MIAMI SOUTH (B-41), AND
INCORPORATING BY ATTACHMENT DESIGNATION
REPORTS AND CRITERIA; AND BY MAKING THE
NECESSARY CHANGES IN THE ZONING DISTRICT
MAP MADE A PART OF SAID ORDINANCE NO.
6871 BY REFERENCE AND DESCRIPTION IN
ARTICLE III, SECTION 21 THEREOF; AND BY
REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, CODE SECTIONS
OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT AND CON-
TAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE
WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board, at its
meeting of March 17, 1982, Item No. 1(c), following an ad-
vertised hearing, akbpted Resolution No. PAB 17-82 by a
7 to 0 vote, RECOMMEN NG APPROVAL of applying the Heritage
Conservatio identi Office Sp cial Overlay District
(SPD-5), as he ei of set f rth; d`
WHEREAS, the ami ��ty om s 'ion finds that in order
to promote the p t licj welfare d to c ltivate a sense of
identity, stabi t a� pride on st ity residents, it is
necessary to rep gni an serve ignificant elements of
Miami's cultural, cial, political, architectural, and
archeological heritage- a
WHEREAS, the City C mmi ion after careful considera-
tion of this matter de`6ms it advisable and in the best
interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami and its
inhabitants to grant said approval;
