HomeMy WebLinkAboutR-82-0342RESOLUTION NO. 8 2- 3 4 2 A RESOLUTION GRANTING A ONE YEAR EXTENSION OF A CONDITIONAL USE, AS LISTED IN ORDINANCE NO. 6871, ARTICLE VI, SECTION 6(1), TO PER- MIT CONSTRUCTION OF A DEVELOPMENT OF A PLAN- NED UNIT NATURE (PUN) ON LOT 16, DAVIS CITRUS FARMS (4-66), BEING APPROXIMATELY 3400 S.W. 16TIi TERRACE, AS PER PLANS ON FILE, CON- SISTING OF 6 DWELLING UNITS IN 3 STRUCTURES; SUBJECT TO LANDSCAPING AND PARKING REVIEW BY PLANNING DEPARTMENT; ZONED R-2 (TWO FAMILY DI,1ELLING) . WHEREAS, Article XXXII of the Comprehesnive Zoning Ordinance No. 6871, permits and extension of a conditional use by the City Manager with approval of the City Commission, for a one year period; and WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends the extension of the conditional use granted by Zoning Board Resolution 184-81; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. The request for a one year extension of a conditional use granted from Ordinance No. 6871, Article VI, Section 6(1), to permit construction of a development of a Planned Unit Nature (PUN) on Lot 16, DAVIS CITRUS FARMS (4-66), being approximately 3400 S. W. 16th Terrace, as per plans on file, consisting of 6 dwelling units in 3 structures; subject to landscaping and parking review by Planning Department; Zoned R-2 (Two Family Dwelling) be and the same is hereby granted. Perez-Lugones REFERENCES:COMMISSION AGENDA - March 25, 1982 Director PLANNING AND ZONING ITEMS Planning and Zoning Boards ENCLOSURES; Administration Department ARTICLE XXXII of the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance No. 6371 provides that any Conditional Use shall expire six months after the effective date of the Conditional Use unless a Building Permit or a Certificate of Use has been issued based upon the Conditional Use. The Ordinance further provides that the City Manager may, after review and determina- tion that substantial progress has been achieved by the applicant in terms of project planning, extend the expiration date of the Conditional Use for an additional period of time not to exceed one year, subject to approval of the City Commission. The Planning Department finds no objection to the granting of the ex- tension of time for this Conditional Use.
