AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 6871, AS AMENDED, THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR THE CITY OF MIAMI, ARTICLE IV GENERAL PROVISIONS, 13Y AMENDING SECTION 26 y "TRANSITIONAL USES IN 1R1 DISTRICTS" TO PERMIT TRANSITIONAL USES FOR ANY LOT IN A R=T RESIDENTIAL TRANSIT DISTRICT TO BE ANY USE PERMITTED IN A R-C RESIDENTIAL OFFICE DISTRICT, AND BY MAKING ALL THE NECESSARY CHANGES IN THE ZONING DISTRICT MAP MADE A PART OF SAID ORDINANCE NO. 6871, BY REFERENCE AND DESCRIPTION IN ARTICLE III, SECTION 2, THEREOF; BY REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES, CODE SECTIONS OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT AND CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE. WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board, at its meeting of February 17, 1982, Item No. 4, following an advertised hearing, adopted Resolution No. PAB 11-82, by a 6 to 0 vote (2 members absent) RECOMMENDING APPROVAL of amending Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance No. 6871, as herein- after set forth; and WHEREAS, the City Commission after careful considera- tion of this matter, deems it advisable and in the best interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami and its inhabitants to grant these amendments, as hereinafter set forth; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE C014MISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA: Section 1. Article IV, Section 26, of Ordinance No. 6871, as amended, the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami, is hereby amended by amending Section 26,. "Transitional Uses in 'R' Districts" to permit transitional uses for any lot in a R-T Residential Transit District to be any use permitted in a R-C Residential Office District, and the same is hereby amended to read as follows; l/ l/ words stricken through shall be deleted. Underscored words constitute the amendment proposed. Remaining provisions are now in effect and remain unchanged. Asterisks indicate omitted and unchanged material, Article IV, Section 26 Section 26, r TRANSITIONAL USES IN "R" DISTRICTS The permitted transitional uses for any such lot in a R=3, R=4, R-5 or R-T District shall be any use permitted in a R-C District. Section 2. That all. Ordinances, Code Sections or parts thereof in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby repealed insofar as they are in conflict. Section 3. Should any part or provision of this Ordinance be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, the same shall not affect the validity of the Ordinance as a whole.
