AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE IV, DIVISION 2, OF THE CODE OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, AS AMENDED, BY ADDING A NEW SECTION 2-77, ENTITLED "BOND REQUIRED FOR THE MOVING OF BUILDINGS", AUTHORIZING'THE BUILDING AND ZONING INSPECTION DEPARTMENT DIRECTOR TO RE- QUIRE POSTING OF A BOND FOR BUILDING MOVING AND ESTABLISHING A PROCEDURE TO DETERMINE THE AMOUNT OF BOND; SETTING FORTH PREREQUISITES FOR THE RELEASE OF SAID BOND, PROVIDING FOR RECOVERY BY THE CITY OF COSTS AND/OR DAMAGES TO PUBLIC PROPERTY WHICH MAY BE IN EXCESS OF BOND PRO- CEEDS; AND PROVIDING FOR CITY RETENTION OF ANY UNCLAIMED MONIES PREVIOUSLY DEPOSITED OR TO BE DEPOSITED IN CONNECTION WITH BUILDING MOVING; CONTAINING A REPEALER PROVISION AND A SEVER - ABILITY CLAUSE.
