ON THE DOWNTOWN GOVERNMENT CENTER PARKING GARAGE IN THE AMOUNT OF $196,700; ALLOCATING SAID AMOUNT FROM THE PARKING CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND. WHEREAS, the Commission of the City of Miami, by Resolution No. 80-859, approved the agreement with Wilbur Smith and Associates, Inc. for professional architectural/engineering services for the de- sign and construction of the Downtown Government Center Parking Garage; and WHEREAS, additional work was requested as authorized under Section VITT - Additional Mork Authorized by the City, for revision of the design to increase garage capacity to 1,500 stalls, add commercial snace and subsequently move the Farar;e structure and delete the commercial snace;and revision of the construction supervision portion to provide thr, need(;d increase thereof; NOI,d, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMIT, FLORIDA: Section 1. The City Commission hereby approves the extra work accomplished by Wilbur Smith and Associates, Inc. on the Downtown Government Center Parkin; Garage. Section 2. The City Commission hereby authorizes the additional payment of $196,700 to said firm, using the Parking Capital Projects Fund to pay for the negotiated costs of said work.
