A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK
OF 11IRI CONSTRUCTION, INC. AT A TOTAL COST
OF $435,382.98 FOR LAWRENCE STORM SE14ER
PROJECT - PHASE 1 ; AND AUTHORIZING A FINAL
PAYMENT OF $47,808.15
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated April 15, 1981
between the City of Miami and Miri Construction, Inc; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed, and
Miri Construction has furnished the required documents certifying
that all bills for labor and materials have been paid in full in
connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department of Public Works
recommend that the completed work be accepted and final piy-.gent made
to the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI , FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by 14iri Construction,
Inc. for LAWRENCE STORM SEVIER PROJECT - PHASE I at a total cost of
$435,382.98 is hereby approved.
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of 'Miami are
hereby authorized to pay $47,808.15 to Miri Construction as full
and final payment for all work performed and all materials furnished
in connection with LAWRE14CE STOR14 SEWER PROJECT - PHASE I.

The Department of Public Works recommends
the adoption of the resolution accepting
the completed work and authorizing a final
payment of $47,808.15 to Miri Construction,
Inc. for LAWRENCE STORM SEWER PROJECT -
PHASE I.
Miri Construction, inc. has completed the project consisting of
the construction of 3262 feet of 3' wide covered ditch and 1844
feet of 24" French drain including pipe, manholes and catch basins
in the area bounded by S. W. 12-17 Avenues between West Flagler
Street and S. W. 10 Street. The original contract amount was
for $451,205.00, and the completed amount is $435,382.98. It was
completed on time.
It is now in order for the Commission to accept the completed
work and authorize final payment, after all conditions are met.
