A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AN INCREASE IN
CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY OF MIAIII AND
J & G ASSOCIATES, INC. IN AN AMOUNT NOT
TO EXCEED $5,000 FOR THE CITY HALL -
FINANCE OFFICE RENOVATIONS - 1981 (3RD
BIDDING); ALLOCATING THE ADDITIONAL
AMOUNT OF $5,000 FROM THE CAPITAL
IMPROVEMENT FUNDS
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated January 19,
1982 between the City of Miami and J & G Associates, Inc.;
and
WHEREAS, we have received a request for additional
work outside the new Commissioners' offices as part of the
subject project; and
[WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works and the
City Manager recommend in increase in the existing contract
for this additional work; and
WHEREAS, the funds for the increase in the contract
are available from the Capital Improvements Appropriation
Ordinance No. 9353, as amended, Section IX, Item B-i-23;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. An increase in the amount of the
contract between the City of Miami and J & G Associates, Inc.
for the CITY HALL - FINANCE OFFICE RENOVATIONS - 1981 (3RD
BIDDING) is hereby authorized in an amount not to exceed
$5,000, with funds therefor hereby allocated from the
Capital Improvement Funds.

The Department of Public Works recommends
--� the adoption of a resolution authorizing
an increase in the contract in the amount
not to exceed $5,000 for CITY HALL - FINA14CE
OFFICE RENOVATIONS - 1981 (3RD BIDDING),
allocating the additional amount of $5,000
from Capital Improvement Funds.
We have received a request from Commissioners to do addi-
tional work outside the new Commissioners' offices by
the contractor, J & G Associates, Inc., as part of CITY
HALL - FINANCE OFFICE RENOVATIONS - 1981 (3RD BIDDING).
The work consists of replacing the existing; door with
double glass doors, raising the floor in the old coffee
room, and providing air conditioning ducts for the area.
Funds will be available for this increase in contract
from the Capital Improvement Funds.
