RESOLUTION NO. 8�i.""487
A RESOLUTION EXPRESSING THE DEEPEST SYMPATHY
AND SINCEREST CONDOLENCES OF THE CITY COMMIS-
SION ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF MIAMI AND ITS
CITIZENS TO THE MEMBERS OF THE FAMILY OF
BERNARD "TEX" CLARK.
WHEREAS, Bernard"Tex" Clark was an exemplary citizen and
long time resident of Dade County, Florida; and
WEHREAS, Bernard "Tex" Clark served his country with courage
and dignity during World War II; and
WHEREAS, Bernard "Tex" Clark diligently and faithfully
discharged his duties and responsibilities during 30 years of
employment with the United States Postal Service; and
WHEREAS, Bernard "Tex" Clark was a caring individual
involved in social,civic and religious activities in our com-
munity; and
WHEREAS, it is the desire of this Commission, on behalf
of the City of Miami and its citizens, to express its deepest
sympathy to the members of the family of Bernard "Tex" Clark;
NOW, THEREFORE. BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Commission hereby conveys to the family and
friends of Bernard "Tex" Clark its deepest sympathy and sincerest
condolences on behalf of the citizens of Miami upon his death.
Section 2. The herein Resolution is offered by the City
Commission as a token of its respect and esteem.
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 17th day of June, 1982.
