The concessionaire at the Miami Marine Stadiulm operates t-h-a boat hoist for the oeneral pUblic. Because of increased wiaintenance and repair costs for the hoist, the concessionaire has requested permission to raise the fee froin the S2.00 level, which was effective in 1978, when the concession agreement was sinned, to S-5.00. (Copy of request letter attached). The requested fee increase is comparable to the rate being charged at the Crandon Park Marina which is the nearest boat hoist operation facility to the Marine Stadium complex. It is recommended that this fee increase be approved. kty MAAINA MANNA STADIUM tNUSAPAIS-Sa, INC. 3501 f31CKENBACKEP ItAUSEWAY iIAMI, FLORMA 3314g TELEpH61iE, (305) W-0509 4'Hut" as=rr•.z~.1 March 125 1982 Mr. Cesar Odio, Assistant Manager CITY. OF MIAMI 3500 Pats American Drive ' Miami, Florida 33133 Dear Mr. Odio, I am writing this letter in regard to our hoist. I think this has already been taken care of but I wanted to make sure. ode would like to be able to charge $5:00 for the use of the hoist; This would be for either way, in or out. We have, customers who use it different ways. Just as a hack up to why we need this increase. One, our labor cost for running the hoist is getting so very high and also the repairs on the two electrical hoses. We just had one repaired and we were _— billed for $600.00 and one for $175.00. Due to the location of the hoist, which is directly next to the water, these repair bilks are somethin- that will continue to go on. We would appreciate a response to this. Very truly yours QEugene A. Hancock cc. Bill Harrison, Lease Dept. City of Miami.\ FAH/ph
