AND C-1 (LOCAL COMMERCIAL) to GU (GOVERNMENTAL
USE), AS PER ATTACHED MAP, AND BY MAKING ALL
THE NECESSARY CHANGES IN THE ZONING DISTRICT
MAP MADE A PART OF SAID ORDINANCE NO. 6871, BY
REFERENCE AND DESCRIPTION IN ARTICLE III,
SECTION 2, THEREOF; BY REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES,
CODE SECTIONS, OR PARTS THEREOF IN CONFLICT; AND
CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY CLAUSE.
WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisoty Board at its meeting
of September 16, 1981, Item #A(a), following an advertised hearing,
adopted Resolution No. PAB 52-81 by a 7 to 0 vote RECOMMENDING
APPROVAL of a change of zoning classification as hereinafter
set forth; and
WHEREAS, the City Commission after. careful consideration
of this matter, deems it advisable and in'the best interest of
the.general welfare of the City of Miami and its inhabitants to
grant this change of zoning classification as hereinafter set
forth;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 6871, the COMDrehensive Zoning
Ordinance for the City of Miami, be and the same is hereby amended
by changing the zoning classification of the area generally bounded
by approximately N. W. 10th Avenue,:N., W.. 17th Street, N. W. 9th
Avenue, N. W. 18th Street, N. W. 8th Avenue and the West Dunbar
School Site (75-87), being Tentative Plat #1103 - "HIGHLAND:PARK,
DRIVE SECTION ONE", from R-4 (Medium Density Multiple) and C-1
(Local Commercial) to GU (Governmental Use), as per attached map,
and by'making the necessary changes in the zoning district map
made a part of said Ordinance.No. 6871, by reference and description
it Article III,,Section 2, thereof.
Section 2. That all Otdinances Code Sections or parts
thereof in conflict herewith be and the same are hereby tepealed
insofar as they ate in conflict,
Section 3. Should any part or provision of this Ordinance
be declared by a court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid ,
the same shall not affect the validity of the Ordinance as a
whole.
