RESOLUTION NO. F2--'7
A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING THE COMPLETED WORK
OF P . N. It. CORPORATION AT A TOTAL COST OF
$501,607.84 FOR LATIN QUARTER PAVING
PROJECT - PHASE I (2ND BIDDING); AND
AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF $71,465.37
WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated April 14,
1981 between the City of Miami and P.N.M. Corporation; and
WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily completed,
and P.N.M. Corporation has furnished the required documents
certifying that all bills for labor and materials have been
paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department of
Public Works recommend that the completed work be accepted
and final payment made to the contractor;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION
OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The completed work performed by P.N.M.
Corporation for LATIN QUARTER PAVING PROJECT - PHASE I at
a total cost of $501,607.84 is hereby approved.
Section 2. The proper officials of the City of
Miami are hereby authorized to pay $ 71,465.37 to P.N.M.
Corporation as full and final payment for all work performed
and all materials furnished in connection with LATIN QUARTER
PAVING PROJECT - PHASE I (2ND BIDDING).
PASSED AND ADOPTED this 22nd day of July , 1982.

The Department of Public Works recommends
the adoption of the resolution accepting
w the completed work; and authorizing a
final payment of $71,465.37 to P.N.M.
Corporation for LATIN QUARTER PAVING
PROJECT - PHASE I (2ND BIDDING) .
P.14.14. Corporation has completed the project consisting
of constructing 57,332 sq. ft. of decorative brick
sidewalk, including concrete and wood headers, land-
scaping, street lighting, concrete curb and gutter,
and paving. The project is located on S. W. 8 Street
between S. 11. 12-17 Avenues and S. W. 13 Avenue between
S. W. 8-10 Streets. The original contract amount was
$452,303.00, but was increased in the amount of $56,000.00
because of extra work, authorized by Commission Resolution
No. 81-901 on October 7, 1981. The actual construction
cost of $501,607.84 is less than the increased contract
amount for the following reasons:
Additional proposal items used $52,548.67
Amount of cash allowance not used
(includes $56,000.00 increase in
contract) 59,273.83
Total decrease $ 6,695.16
It is now in order for the Commission to accept the completed
work and authorize final payment, after all conditions are
met.
