It is recommended that an appropriation be made
from the Enterprise Fund, Miami Springs Golf
Course, in the amount of $45,000 to provide re-
placements and/or repairs to the Miami Springs
Golf Course Club House roof; which is available
from FY '81 retained earnings.
PURPOSE: The present roof at the Miami Springs Clubhouse has
severely deteriorated, resulting in large leaks in
the kitchen, storage rooms, and public access areas
which is impeding the food and beverage concession
operations and creating a liability to the City.
This appropriation will cover the cost for the
necessary replacement and/or repairs.
FUNDING: Required funding is available from the FY '81 retained
earnings and which has been verifid as exceeding
$200,000.
Therefore, it is recommended by the Recreation Depart-
ment that the required funds be appropriated via the
attached emergency appropriate ordinances.
