O. Box 330708 Miami, F1. 33133 Dear Mayor and Commissioners: Dade Community Revitalization Board has had an extremely good working relationship with the City since its crea- tion following the 1980 civil disturbance. Together we have moved several programs forward. You have been re- presented on our Board in an ex-officio capacity by your City Manager for which we are grateful. DCRB has received notice that its funding by the State for the coming year will be cut in half, from $200,000 to $100,000. This is a drastic reduction for the Board and will not provide for implementation of many on -going projects initiated during the past fiscal year. This letter is requesting that the City allocate 1/3 of the State's cut-bac)c of $100,000 to provide the much _ needed reserve in the pursuit of our stated goals. The balance will be sought from the City and the School Board. We have discussed this item with the Manager and he has suggested that this request be presented to the Commis- sion. We would appreciate this matter being considered at your e-arliest possible opportunity. Sincereky, R JRGoode, Chairman cbers of Community Revitalization Board all J.
