AT A TOTAL COST OF $63,874.08 FOR ALLAPATTAH COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PAVING PROJECT - PHASE IV (BID "B" - SANITARY SEWERS) ; A14D AUTHORIZING A FINAL PAYMENT OF $8,724.17 WHEREAS, there exists a contract dated October 16, 1981 between the City of Miami and FRE Construction Co'., Inc.; and WHEREAS, the work has been satisfactorily com- pleted, and FRE Construction Co., Inc. has furnished the required documents certifying that all bills for labor and materials have been paid in full in connection with the aforesaid contract; and WHEREAS, the City Manager and the Department of Public works recommend that the completed work be accepted and final payment made to the contractor; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE CITY OF MIAMI, rLORIDA: Section 1. The completed work performed by FRE Construction Co., Inc. for ALLAPATTAH COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PAVING PROJECT - PHASE IV (BID "B" - SANITARY SEWERS) at a total cost of $63,874.08 is hereby approved. Section 2. The proper officials of the City of Miami are hereby authorized to pay $8,724.17 to FRE Construction Co., Inc. as full and final payment for all work performed and all materials furnished in connection with ALLAPATTAH COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PAVING PROJECT - PHASE IV (BID "B" - SANITARY SEWERS) . Cather Director of Public CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA INTER -OFFICE MEMORANDUM DATE August 23, 1982 FILE B-4468 SUBJECT ALLAPATTAH COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PAVING PROJECT - PHASE IV (BID "B" - SANITARY SEWERS) - Resolution for REFERENCES Final Payment ENCLOSURES (For Commission Meeting of September 9, 1982) The Department of Public Works recommends the adoption of the resolution accepting the completed work and authorizing a final payment of $8,724.17 to FRE Construction Co., Inc. for ALLAPATTAH COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT PAVING PROJECT - PHASE IV (BID "B" - SANITARY SEWERS). FRE Construction Co., Inc. has completed the project consist- ing of replacing an existing sanitary sewage system in con- junction with a highway rebuilding on N. 11. 30 Street between N. W. 23-24 Avenues and N. W. 23 Avenue between N. W. 29-32 Streets. The original contract amount was for $75,643.00, and the completed amount is $63,874.08. It was completed on time.
