A MOTION EXPRESSING THE PULICY 01" THE CITY COMMISSION THAT THE GARBAGE
FEE FOR CITY OF MIAMI RESIDINTS RI--.\IAIN AT THE PRESINT RATE OF $75.00
PER YEAR; FURTH IR STIPULATING THAT REVENUE DERIVED FROM THIS FEE BE
USED TO PAY METROPOLITAN DADE COUNTY. SINCE THIS FEE REPRESENTS THEIR
PRESENT CHARGE TO THE CITY OF MIAMI.
(MOTE: Although this motion was passed, the Appropriations
Ordinance, which was later passed and adopted in this same
meeting, reflects a $25.00 increase in the garbage fee, which
meant an increase from $75.00/year to $100.00/year)

THE CITY OF MIAMT FOR THE PURPOSE OF TAXATION; FIXING THE TENTATIVE
^IILLAGE AND LEVYING TAXES IN THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA, FOR THE
FISCAL. YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 1982, AID ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 1983,
CONTAINING A SEVERABILI'IN CLAi?SIE.
A MOTION ACCEPTI-NG THE RECOMMENDATIONS OF THE CITY MANAGER FOR
PURPOSES OF 1.UNDING 50 ADDITIONAL POLICE OFFICERS AT A COST OF
$1.100,000; EXPANDING THE RECREATION DEPARTMENT'S BUDGET BY $500,000,
AND LICREASING THE SOLID WASTE FEE FROM $75.00/YEAR TO $100.00/YEAR.

FLORIDA, FOR THE FISCAL Y17AR BEGINNING OCT013ER 1, 1982, AND ENDL'NG
SEPI'F1,iI3ER 30, 19'83. FIXING THE MILLAGE. AT FIFTY ONE -HUNDREDTHS (.50)
MILLS ON THE DOLLAR OF THE NON-EXEMPT ASSESSED VALUE OF ALL REAL AND
PERSONAL PROPERTY IV SAID DISTRICT AND PROVIDING THAT THE SAID MILLAGE
AID THE TAXES LEVIED HEREIN SHALL BE IN ADDITION TO THE FIXING OF THE
