A RESOLUTION CLOSING, VACATING, ABANDONING AND
DISCONTINUING THE PUBLIC USE OF THE EAST -WEST
ALLEY LOCATED BETWEEN NORTHWEST 36TH STREET AND
NORTHWEST 37TH STREET CO1v1MENCING AT THE EASTERLY
RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE OF NORTHWEST 32ND AVENUE FOR
A DISTANCE OF + 299.57' AND THAT PORTION OF THE
NORTH -SOUTH ALLEY LOCATED BETWEEN THE ABOVE RE-
VERENCED ALLEY AND THE SOUTHERLY RIGHT-OF-WAY
LINE OF NORTHWEST 37TH STREET FOR A DISTANCE OF
+ 5' (BEING WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS) WHICH IS
+ 129.75' EAST OF THE EAST RIGHT-OF-WAY LINE
OF NORTHWEST 32ND AVEtTUE; AS A CONDITI014 OF
APPROVAL OF TENTATIVE PLAT #1170 "REVISED PLAT
OF HANSON SUBDIVISION", 14ITH FINAL ACCEPTANCE
AND RECORDING SUBJECT TO DADE COUNTY C011MISSION
APPROVAL.
WHEREAS, the Miami Zoning Board at its meeting of
July 19, 1982, Item No. 10 , following an advertised hearing,
adopted Resolution No. ZB 133-82 by a vote of 7 to 0, RECOM-
MENDING APPROVAL of the official vacation and closure of two
public alleys, as hereinafter set forth; and
41EREAS, the City Commission deems it advisable and
in the best interest of the general welfare of the City of Miami
and its inhabitants to grant the vacation and closure of the
alleys in question:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The East-West alley located between North-
west 36th Street and Northwest 37th Street commencing at the
Easterly right-of-way line of Northwest 32nd Avenue for a distance
of + 299.57' and that portion of the ,forth -South alley located
between the above referenced alley and the Southerly right-of-way
line of Northwest 37th Street for a distance of + 5' (being with-
in the City limits) which is +129.75' East of the East right-of-way
line of Northwest 32nd Avenue: As a condition of approval of
Tentative Plat #1170 "REVISED PLAT OF HA14SON SUBDIVISION" with
final acceptance and recording subject to Dade County Commission
approval, be and the same is hereby closed, vacated, abandoned
and discontinued for public use.

RECOMIMENDATIONS
PLANNING DEPT.
APPROVAL. The Plat and Street Committee has
recommended the closure of the alleys. There
is hardly any vehicular raffic to the back
and/or the sides of the properties involved,
therefore closure of the alleys would not
have a negative impact in the area; it may
even have a positive impact since its closure
may act as a deterrant for crime.
PUBLIC WORKS
No dedication is requested.
