A RESOLUTION UPHOLDING THE GRANTING OF A
VARIANCE FROM ORDINANCE 140, 6871, ARTICLE
XXIII, SECTION 4(27), TO PERMIT CONSTRUC-
TION OF A SECOND FLOOR STORAGE ADDITION TO
THE EXISTING BUILDING ON LOT 20 LESS THE
SOUTH 5', BLOCK 5, EVANSTON HEIGHTS (1-56);
BEING 1951 WEST FLAGLER STREET, AS PER
PLANS ON FILE, PROVIDING 19 OF 25 REQUIRED
OFF-STREET PARKING SPACES; WITH THE CON-
TITIONS THAT THE SrCOND FLOOR ADDITION WILL
ONLY BE USED AS WAREHOUSE SPACE AND WITH
SIX MONTH REVIEW BY THE BUILDING DEPART-
MENT; ZONED C-4 (GENERAL COMMERCIAL).
WHEREAS, the Miami Zoning Board at its meeting of
.duly 12, 1982, Item No. 9 , following an advertised
hearing adopted Resolution No. ZB 119-82, by a 6 to 0 vote
GRANTING a variance to allow construction of a second floor
storage addition, as hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, objectors have taken an appeal to the
City Commission ; and
WHEREAS, notwithstanding the objections of these
citizens, the City Commission after careful consideration
and due deliberation of this matter has determined that
the Variance requested meets all of the City's requirements
for said use;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMISSION OF
THE CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The variance, as listed in Ordinance No.
6871, Article XXIII, Section 4(27) to permit construction of a
second floor storage addition to the existing building on
Lot 20 less the S 5', Block 5; EVANSTON HEIGHTS (1-56); being
1951 West Flagler Street, as per plans on file, providing 19
of 25 required off-street parking spaces; with the conditions
tbat the -second floor addition will only be used as warehouse
r space and with six month review by the Building Department;
