AN ORDINANCE AMENDING COMPREHENSIVE
ZONING ORDINANCE 6871, AS AMENDED, THE
COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR THE
CITY OF MIAMI BY AMENDING ARTICLE IV
ENTITLED "GENERAL PROVISIONS," MORE
PARTICULARLY BY AMENDING SECTION 26
ENTITLED "TRANSITIONAL USES IN 'R'
DISTRICTS" RESTRICTING THE APPLICATION OF
TRANSITIONAL USES IN RESIDENTIAL AREAS;
BY MAKING THE NECESSARY CHANGES IN THE
ZONING DISTRICT MAP MADE A PART OF SAID
ORDINANCE NO. 6871, BY REFERENCE AND
DESCRIPTION IN ARTICLE III, SECTION 2,
THEREOF, BY REPEALING ALL ORDINANCES,
CODE SECTIONS, OR PARTS THEREOF IN CON-
FLICT AND CONTAINING A SEVERABILITY
CLAUSE.
WHEREAS, the Miami Planning Advisory Board at its
meeting of October 6, 1982, Item 5, following a> advertised
hearing, adopted Resolution No. PAB 62-82 by af7 to 0 vote,
RECOMMENDING APPROVAL of amending Ordinance No. ,6871, as
hereinafter set forth; and
WHEREAS, the Miami City Com is9ion finds that in order
to protect the educational, cultli al, economic, and general
welfare of the public aV,to promote a sense of identity,
stability, and civic pride amongst City residents, it is
necessary to recognize and conserve significant elements by
this amendment.
NOW, THEREFORP, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMISSION OF THE
CITY OF MIAMI, FLORIDA.
Section 1. Ordinance No. 6871, as amended, the Com-
prehensive Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami is hereby
amended by amending Article IV, entitled "General Provisions," by
amending Section 26 entitled "Transitional Uses in 'R' District,"
to read as follows: 1/
